Mr. Goodman Musariri boldly asserts that “Chamisa and Chin’ono are Traitors and, therefore, ENEMIES OF THE STATE,” and concludes that a cause exists for them to be tried, prosecuted and executed for the highest treason in the Republic of Zimbabwe before the 2023 elections.

The question that arises is whether the state exists as living creature capable of being undermined and harmed.

The late Baroness Margaret Thatcher once said: “SOCIETY DOES NOT EXIST BUT INDIVIDUALS DO,” to demonstrate a simple and stupid point that Chamisa and Chin’ono are sovereign actors who endowed by the creator with certain unalienable rights including the right to liberty, life and pursuit of happiness.

The moment one individual purports to substitute the state, the danger exists of this rights of nature being subordinated to an amorphous creature of law called the state.

Illiteracy that is pervasive allows persons who are seemingly enlightened to believe that what lies between their ears is the universe of what is right and wrong.

In as much one dislike Chamisa and Chin’ono one should never be tempted to play the role of a Little God to permit the absurdity in a construction that speaks to a reality that allows all citizens to benefit from the law and also the protection that it must offer to all including the right to think and act differently.

The state is a mere vehicle for people to use and not for some to use it as a weapon to limit free expression and more importantly to undermine the rights and freedoms entrenched in the constitution.

Thank You Great Statesman LIFO for the pertinent question and allow me to give you my forensic prophecy view on the subject from these angles below:

(1) ON HAVING STRONG MUSCLES

• One important consequence of our being animals and of our having mortal bodies is that we are susceptible to murder, and although the average man doesn’t like murder .

• True , we have a divine desire for knowledge and wisdom , but with knowledge come also differences of points of view and therefore arguments .

• In a world of mortals , the situation is different . The disputing party generally gets so obnoxious in the eyes of his opponent – and the more obnoxious he will appear , the more embarrassingly right his arguments are – so the latter just kills him, and that settles the argument .

• If “A” kills “B”, “A” is right; and if “B” kills “A”, “B” is right .

• This we hardly need remind ourselves , is the old , old method of settling arguments among brutes .
