JOHANNESBURG – A bus has caught on fire on the N1 North just after the William Nicol off-ramp.
The bus — which was full at the time of the incident — was travelling from Cape Town to.
According to Johannesburg Metro Police Department spokesperson Wayne Minnaar, there have been no deaths or injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
All lanes on the N1 North and South have been closed.
Traffic is currently being diverted from William Nicol past Witkoppen Road through to Rivonia to join N1 North.
