Writing on Twitter, he said that he is doing it for personal and private reasons.
“For purely personal and private reasons, I’m resigning from the MDC-T with immediate effect. Kindly be advised accordingly”. He wrote on his Twitter account.
The MDC-T is led by Thokozani Khupe.
Gutu got exceedingly mired in political controversy when he started to publicly support POLAD which the other MDC led by Nelson Chamisa had shunned.
