Today’s Message: Your Sin Is Never Private.

Time: 9am – 11 am

Scripture references

  • Hebrews 9:27

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this there is judgment.”

  • Luke 8:17

“For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.”

  • Numbers 32:23 (NIV).

Is one of the scariest verses in the Bible: “You may be sure that your sin will find you out.”

  • Proverbs:  8: 36

“But he that sins against me has wronged his own soul, all they that hate me love death.”

  • Ezekiel 33:11

“Say unto them, As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live turn you, turn you from your evil ways for why will you die, O house of Israel?”

  • Matthew 6:4

Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds”

Sermon Notes:

Sin may be done in secret, but it is never private.

The day I die, my Death will unify the body of Christ Jesus. People will weep and many souls will confess that Jesus is Lord and Evangelists will preach.

As In His Presence Ministry International Church, we must have a uniform and tenacity mentality or moral strength to resist opposition, danger, or hardship specially in these trying times. “The secret of endurance is to remember that your pain is temporary but your reward will be eternal.”

God made us to be connected people. Sin may be secret, but it’s never private. It will either come out now, here on earth, or on Judgment Day, but eventually it will be known. God has determined as he said in Luke 12:2-3, that the secrets will be uncovered, the truth will come forth, and God’s thought about every behavior and action will be vindicated. What’s done in the dark will come to light.

Tenacity is the gift of the spirit. The book of Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. The book of 1 Samuels 30:6 further supports tenacity by saying “David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.” Furthermore, the book of Hebrews 12:3 says “Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

  • Tenacity is holding on firmly to the things God instructed until they begin to manifest in our life.
  • Tenacity is refusing to give up easily because of the discouragement of others.
  • Tenacity means refusing to quit even when it seems God is far away.

Only when you have Tenacity, the following will happen.

  1. You will see God show up for you in ways you never imagined or expected. 2 Timothy 4:16-17
  2. You will be vindicated in the end that it pays to serve God. Galatians 6:9
  3. You will experience rewards that come from God only. Psalm 126:6

Ask yourself this question:

You may die one day, but where are you going?

Another reason why sin is never private is because everything you do, good or bad, affects other people even if they don’t know what’s going on. If someone close to you stayed up all night doing immoral things and then sees you in the morning, you would notice that something was off. You might not know what happened, but the result of their sin would be obvious in the way they behave. Very few people could act as if nothing happened.

John 5:14 says, “Behold, you have become well. Sin no more, that something worse should not happen to you.” It doesn’t even have to be some big sin you commit. It could be the sin of omission. If you have a regular quiet time with God and then go a few days without spending time in God’s presence, there’s probably going to be a difference in how you react to people and circumstances. That’s because when you’re not plugged in, you don’t have the spiritual power to fight sin.

The solemn reason why I am crazy about God and the delivering the Gospel is, I once saw myself in hell, Satan grabbed me. Me being a firm believer of the word, I invoked the word of Jesus, I then saw the hand of Christ from heaven above. The hand pulled me out of Satan’s lair. From that day forward I have been committed to deliver the Gospel, The Gospel is good news.

The Bible says in Romans 14:7, “None of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone” (NIV). The book of 1 John 3:9 says, “anyone born of God refuses to practice sin,

because God’s seed abides in , he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.” Thus it means if love the Lord you will never love sin.

A lot of people will say, “What I do with my life is no one else’s business. As long as I’m not hurting anybody, why should anyone else care?” But you are hurting other people. God made us to be connected as people, and what we do and say always has an effect on others.

When you are afraid of a dog, it can tell from your skin and it will bite you. The book of Exodus 20:20 says, “Moses said to the people, do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin.” Remember this, it is the fear Adam had when he first sinned and hid from God (Genesis 3:10), fear from sinning drives you away from God.

Sin affects the third and the fourth generation

Sin affects you in ways you don’t even realize, and then your actions affect others. When you sin, it cuts you off from God’s power and keeps you from your potential. It limits the good you can do and the impact you could have. Isn’t it sad to think of what you and others are missing when you’re not at your God-given best? There is only one way to move past the sin that holds you back and hurts others: Confess it.

Churches are full of people that go to church and they sing a couple of songs not really understanding any of the laws and they walk out unchanged. If you go to a church building and you don’t change you have not yet encountered Jesus, but if you encounter Him your life will never be the same again as no one’s life remains the same once they acknowledge that Jesus is Lord and Saviour over their life.

Remember this, It is not how you start but it is how you finish.

God Looks at Character and not reputation.

As a man thinks in his mind, so is he.

Whatever you go through, it is temporary.

Many Thanks, I love you and I’m praying for you!
