Mr. Michael Mungashi SC in HOT SOUP OVER STOLEN TAP MONEY

Today was an interesting day in the life of Mr. Michael Mundashi SC, whose firm pocketed $127,346.10 of TAP money on the basis that it was entitled to the proceeds of a criminal enterprise that his firm, Mulenga, Mungashi Legal Partners (MMLP), was paid by TAP on the basis of instructions by a Zimbabwean extrajudicially appointed Administrator, Mr. Afaras Gwaradzimba.

In response to a letter from TAP, MMLP responded as follows:

Mr. Tichaona Mupasiri, the Applicant in the matter pending before the Constitutional Court of Zimbabwe under Case Number CCZ 34/21 in which he is seeking the Constitutional Court to determine whether this wanton and corrupt abuse of public power that was used by his lawyer, Mr. Edwin Manikai, and his law firm, DMH Attorneys, constitutes a breach of oath by the President of Zimbabwe.
