The Africa I don’t want

What kind of Africa do you not want to see? What is Africa? Who is an African?

This video is one of many and the opinions expressed therein expose a deep-seated fundamental challenge of Identity Politics.

If one takes the example of the idea commonly referred to as XENO-phobia, it is easy to appreciate the lack of shared understanding of the phenomenon called PRIDE and PREJUDICE.

The issue of so-called foreigners requires wisdom to properly expose the bankruptcy of thought that informs it.

A lion is always a lion and lack of documentation does not alter its identity yet the absence of documents can alter a human being’s identity.

Meat never invites flies yet flies self-invite. A country is also like meat and the people who choose to live and work in a target country do as individuals and not as agents of some national force.

It is easy to conclude that migrants from country X mutate into an aggregate of humans yet the faulty construct fatally defective and irreparable.

A human being can never be identified by place or geography of birth.

Whether a person hails from Somalia, UK or China, what is undeniable is that they make choices to target places where they believe that they can pursue the rights of nature better than the place where they call home.

Picture this a child from Nicaragua of 8 years old who has escaped all the hazards to get to the American border only to be told he has no access to where his spirit is, will never willingly go back to where he voluntarily chose to vacate.

Life has no reverse gear to allow the human spirit to be managed administratively.

No border can pose a real barrier to a human being and as such, the idea that Zimbabweans for example who crossed the border as individuals should be treated as a monolithic entity is unhelpful.

Each human being is sovereign and as such will not accept to go back where he has left with no third party assistance.

This being the case, Mtukudzi would have said WHAT SHALL WE DO yet others believe that administrative tinkering would induce human beings who individually know why they left Zimbabwe to be frog-matched back to where others many condemn them to be.

Now turning to those who took the same decisions and acted upon them to leave Europe to make Africa their home, what should be done?

Africa belongs to all who live in it yet there are many who believe their have or ought to have a better claim of Africa as if Africa of its nation states are living things that are susceptible of being controlled or owned.

No living human being of flesh can justly claim ownership that is purely based on the creator’a gift.

What would be the value or utility of gold to an animal? Zero.

I overhead a spirited discussion between two human beings living in South Africa talking about this dudula thing.

The one who pretended to be South African could not explain what the difference between land as an object given common to all and land as property.

The other person used the analogy of water and mealie meal. He said that if water and mealie meal were left seating together in their forns, the possibility of pap being the outcome is an impossibility.

However, in the affairs of humans, water and mealie meal can be integrated to produce a compound that is not reversible.

If this construction is correct, then the notion that one can reverse pap into water and mealie meal, then one must that the future is doomed.

With above perspective, you should watch this video to detect unrefined thoughts on a corrosive idea called IDENTITY POLITICS.
