BOAF is pleased to induct Ms. Dineo Welheminah Phuku, co-owner of a Tlholo Pele Consultancy (Pty) Limited (TPC), a company that was founded on 26 September 2018, with registration number K2018514348 based in Kempton Park, South Africa, to the 10,000 Points of Light

Ms. Alisha Smith, a member of the 10,000 Points of Light (POL), said: “I am inspired to welcome Ms. Phuku, who is also the MBA Coordinator at the Henley Business School, to this Hall of Fame. I did not know her and from what I have been able to establish from Mr. Mpasiri, I am encouraged that it is only through the instrumentality of the people who believe that visibility is important in the enterprise of client acquisition who see the potential value and potency of organizing ourselves into clusters of mutuality and not competition.

I sincerely hold the view that it does not take a crowd to make a difference to a problem or to efficiently bridge a problem to a solution.

We all count on the enterprise called life. Ms. Phuku is no longer a stranger for she has agreed to be a BOAFER who is passionate about provoking, igniting, and inspiring others to see the greatness and genius in them rather than helping them to lift themselves from one state to another.”

Ms. Phuku said: “My name means GIFT and I believe that it suits me as I look at any person I encounter as a gift and in them, there is something that I may not be gifted with but when I know the person, I will be the best ambassador to unlock such unique and personal gifts.

I can only bridge a gift to a problem provided the holder of the gift chooses to play his or her part. It is for this reason that when the idea of Bank of Hope whose currency is its paid-up members, I was so excited to be on the bus that talks about something I can choose to shape its personality and character.

As a POL, I will never pretend to be what I am not but simply share what I am doing in my daily life. It was only yesterday that I attended the dinner hosted by the Pan African Business Forum (PABF) in honor of Mr. Austin Rollins Cooper Jr, Vice President of the organization, that I learned that the more I expose myself to what I do not know, the luckier I can be.

I believe that being in the human capital allocation business has uniquely given me insights, ideas, knowledge, and experience to be a team or bank builder. I have the gift, discipline, and drive to make things happen.

My aspiration is to expose the POL community to suitable learning channels, and skills programs and present them to job opportunities where their skills can be utilized and where they add value the most through TP Consultancy.

I hold an Industrial and Organisational Psychology degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.

I believe in people, in change, and in building a better Africa for all those who deem themselves Africans.

I’ve always been interested in humans and what drives our behavior, and the choices we make in life hence the study of psychology.”

TPC is a corporate vehicle that provides staffing solutions to high-end organizations and places highly skilled professionals across the corporate hierarchy.

It bridges job seekers to opportunities that are available in the competitive labour market. In this digital age, the bridge is no longer straightforward, especially when in-person interfaces are gradually being phased out.

Ms. Phutu further stated that: “We decided to specialize our service offering on Human Capital Recruitment, Strategic Planning, Organisational Development, Strategy, and Research.
