Was Julius Nyerere on point when he said that when politicians masquerading as LEADERS have become bankrupt of ideas, they resort to ethnicity, religion and past suffering as the basis of mobilization when he knew and ought to have know that the idea that a politician assumes a different human identity is fatally defective given self-evident truth that all MEN including so-called politicians are created equal and are endowed only by the creator with certain unalienable rights including the right to life, liberty and property?

The idea that seeking and holding public office creates a Messiah-like human character of flesh is widely held and Nyerere’s construction that he was an exemplary leader was based on his misunderstanding of the true nature of the blueprint and intended operation of life.

The idea that a politician ceases to be ordinary and infallible marks the beginning of a toxic civilization and the greatest the theft of sovereignty and active citizenship.

Trusting any human being holding a public position undermines the basis on which civilization is founded and republicanism that often underpins it.

In a republic, a human being who holds a position of public trust automatically should be treated as public property and as such must necessarily be accountable to the public from whom such power is derived.

What is the reality in the affairs of mankind? This you can answer for yourself.
