Minister Cele utterances , a scare to investors

Following his viral video, Minister Cele’s utterances have received difficult questions and contempt from foreign investors with some calling for an aid in his logical thinking.

Since his scathing attack focused on both documented and undocumented people in South Africa, it was the Minister’s assertion that South African born citizens are permitted to sell drugs as well as opening brothels notwithstanding the fact that a murderer and criminal remains one regardless of his colour, origin and nationality.

It is this kind of identity politics which caused one male and a female to be regarded as 60% of a human being some time back in the United States of America.

The instigation of hatred and division by Minister Cele is equated to the devilish manner in which Nazis under Hitler conducted their choreographed attack on the Jews.

The minister took an oath to uphold, respect and obey the constitution of South Africa, but his views are a wide miss to the constitutional promise.

What should be the role of public office bearers in a constitutional state in as far as nation building and social cohesion is concerned?
