MR. FELIX NGAMANYA VISITS THE GREENBELT RICE PROJECT TO EXPLORE AND EXPLOIT VALUE CHAIN GAPS showing up for what future he wants to see by doing and not by hallucinating.

Mr. Felix Ngamanya, a member of the Business Innovation WhatsApp group created by Dr. Raymond Chamba, as a platform to connect, equip, provoke, ignite and inspire the building of community power to solve the supply and demand sides of commerce, had this to say: “The Malawi government, through a company it formed, The Greenbelt Authority, is setting up a big Rice Mill right opposite my home village in Karonga. I am currently in Karonga.

Karonga District is the rice producing district in Malawi.

I came by to see & look at gaps & opportunities to add value to the project.

The next 2 days are very busy days for me.

The Malawi government, through a company it formed, The Greenbelt Authority, is setting up a big Rice Mill right opposite my home village in Karonga. I am in Karonga.

I am a forward leaning individual and when Mr Mawere, a member of the group, mentioned about the initiative to convert connections in social media into community power using technology as the bridge, I immediately could see the endless possibilities that speak to the agenda 2063.

The rice that will be produced in Malawi will not be limited to local consumption but will find its way to other stomachs in the region.

Naturally, a development of this nature and magnitude will unlock supply chain opportunities that call for responses.”

Mr. Mutumwa Mawere, Chairman of the BOAF – 10K POINTS OF LIGHT (POL) said: “I met Felix in WhatsApp group and I had no idea of who he was until he introduced himself as follows this morning:

“My name is Felix Ngamanya Sapao, a Malawian citizen. I am a sports consultant working in the Southern & East Africa region. I am also a farmer, owning a 472 hectare farm in Mzimba district in Northern Malawi. Busy working on starting up Blueberry & Biofortified Vitamin A maize & beans farming. I am currently having Blueberry growing research at an Agricultural Research Station in Mzuzu city. I am farming greenhouse tomatoes & superhot chilli with a goal of completing the value chain into processing once funding is available.”

Africa is stronger when its inhabitants realize that key in any human endeavor is to aggregate, optimize and accelerate.”
