Mr. Tichaona Mupasiri Appointed as Fundraising Expert for Philani Maswati Charity Organisation

The Philani Maswati Charity Organisation, under the patronage of Her Majesty, The Indlovukazi of the Kingdom of Eswatini, has appointed Mr. Tichaona Mupasiri as its Fundraising Expert, effective 2 January 2025.

A member of the Banking On Africa’s Future Network, Mr. Mupasiri brings extensive experience and a proven track record in philanthropic initiatives. His role will be instrumental in advancing the organisation’s mission to empower underserved communities through innovative and sustainable fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

In his new role, Mr. Mupasiri will focus on:

Fundraising Strategies:

Crafting and implementing innovative strategies to secure diverse funding.

Donor Relations:

Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential donors.

Grant Proposals:

Preparing detailed proposals to attract grants aligned with the organisation’s mission.

Fundraising Events:

Leading impactful events and campaigns to drive contributions and donor engagement.

Performance Monitoring:

Establishing metrics to evaluate fundraising activities and providing regular updates.

Capacity Building:

Mentoring staff and volunteers to foster a culture of philanthropy.

Mr. Mupasiri will report directly to Executive Chairman Lutfo E. Dlamini and work collaboratively with the leadership team to achieve the organisation’s ambitious goals.
