Judges in Zimbabwe who have described themselves as ‘long suffering’ recently wrote a letter to President Emmerson Mnangagwa complaining about their working conditions which they said had become ‘untenable’.
They decried abuse of power and poor leadership by the Chief Justice Luke Malaba whom they said was interfering with their day to day operations including manipulating judgements.
He has also been implicated in acts of corruption and other financial irregularities which brings the justice system in the country into disrepute.
