The Prosper Africa Tech for Trade Alliance has launched an open call for African technology companies to submit applications for a new initiative designed to drive innovation in trade and commerce across the continent. This Request for Applications (RFA) aims to identify and support tech-based solutions that can help address the unique challenges of Africa’s trade ecosystem, fostering economic integration and growth.

The RFA targets African entrepreneurs, startups, and established businesses with technology-driven solutions capable of enhancing trade efficiency, expanding market access, and connecting African businesses to global markets. Eligible applicants should have solutions with demonstrable impact, a clear path to scale, and potential for future financing and investment.

Applicants will have the chance to collaborate closely with Alliance partners to enhance the impact and reach of their projects, with a focus on maximizing growth and sustainability.

“We’re thrilled to support African tech innovators whose solutions have the potential to transform commerce and trade across the continent,” said Lisa Lisa Walker, Managing Director of Africa Operations at Prosper Africa. “By collaborating with our partners, selected applicants will receive vital resources to expand their solutions, drive trade efficiencies, and support Africa’s role in the global digital economy.”
