THE ENERGY BOUNCE‐BACK LOAN GUARANTEE SCHEME FOR BUSINESSES IN SOUTH AFRICA

The Energy Bounce‐Back Loan Guarantee Scheme (EBB) has been introduced in South Africa to help small businesses and households invest in solar equipment, aiming to mitigate the impact of unreliable power supply.

This initiative, launched following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s commitment, involves the government guaranteeing solar-related loans for small and medium enterprises.
