At the recent Black Industrialists and Exporters Conference in Sandton, APCoat, a youth-owned paint manufacturer, showcased its commitment to innovation, community, and expansion. Led by Chief Executive Officer Livhuwani Tshipuke, the company highlighted its achievements in job creation, education sponsorship, and product development.

The APCoat team showcased their products and values at the recent exhibition hosted by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition in Sandton, Gauteng.

Proudly South African and 100% black-owned, APCoat operates across Gauteng and Limpopo, with a focus on providing modern and vibrant retail experiences. Tshipuke emphasized the company’s dedication to supporting local communities by employing fourteen individuals, with eight of them being youth, and sponsoring schools in areas where they operate.

One notable achievement is the development of APCoat sports field line marking paint, a product in high demand due to its environmental friendliness and water-based formula. Tshipuke underscored the significance of being the first black-owned company to manufacture such a specialized product in the country, showcasing APCoat’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

In line with their vision, Tshipuke expressed APCoat’s ambition to become the preferred paint brand in Africa by 2032. The company’s dedication to quality has been recognized with certifications from the International Organisation for Standardisation and the South African Bureau of Standards, further solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.
