PASI FLOORING (PTY) LTD is a company that specializes in the provision of flooring and deckingsolutions for Domestic, Private; Public, and Commercial applications. The company has been in business for over 12 years and was originally operating as SINGLE TITLE INVESTMENTS CC t/a WOODEN DECKS & FLOORS PLUS. We converted from cc to PTY and changed thename to reflect our confidence in our abilities and to reflect our commitment to what we do.In some African languages, the word “Pasi” literally means “Floor” and the short version of thefounder’s name is Pasi, so is it a coincidence we are in the flooring industry? We don’t think so.

At PASI FLOORING (PTY) LTD our goal is to bring to the client the best quality products that areinstalled to the best standards. We provide a complete solution by both supplying and installingthe product.

Pasi Flooring employs over 10 people in different roles with a number of downstream Installation subcontractor teams that have been set up as independent SBU.

VisionThe short-term vision is to start offering and installing our own in-house branded products in the next 2years and build a solid base for expansion through strategic partnerships and franchises across South Africa and into Sub Saharan Africa.

Currently, we operate from one branch in Bryanston Johannesburg with plans to open new branches in the near future.

Boaf

I became a member after meeting with Mr. Mawere. We had a chat on various topics and Boaf came up during the discussion on how we can leverage networks to grow a business. Most of the Boaf Network members are entrepreneurs and this creates a cauldron of ideas and also creates a unique opportunity for one to tap into the synergies existent in such a network. I trust you will find the above in order.

Thanks

A MEMBER OF THE SOUTHERN AFRICAN WOOD; LAMINATE AND FLOORING ASSOCIATION and BUSINESS NETWORK INTERNATIONAL”

Furthermore, all the above aside, I had an interesting community conversation with Mr. Pasi the owner of Pasi Flooring (Pty) Ltd as follows:

I came across your video on Pasi Flooring where you had a brief conversation with a community member Mr. Mutumwa Mawere. My name is Brian Tawanda Manyati a member since 2020 and a scribe on IniAfrica online news outlet. Am intending to write more on your micro and small to medium business entity in a bid to share knowledge and continue to community build. May I have the following from you kindly:1. A brief on you Mr. Pasi2. A brief on Pasi Flooring (a separate person at law)3. How you became a Boaf member and how you think that community of like minds is of benefit to SMMEs such as your own

[04/11, 12:07] briantawandamanyati at African Development Associates: You have a glimpse of me (my image) on that post.

[04/12, 05:46] briantawandamanyati at African Development Associates: Good morning Mr. Pasi. As I start my day, just to quickly find out from you in follow up to my originating message to you yesterday.

[04/12, 06:42] Pasi Flooring: Morning.

[04/12, 06:43] Pasi Flooring: I will send you the info today via email

[04/12, 06:48] briantawandamanyati at African Development Associates: Duly noted. You are most welcome.

[04/14, 03:46] briantawandamanyati at African Development Associates: I have received your email with thanks Mr. Pasi. Blessings colleague.

[04/14, 06:12] Pasi Flooring: Thank you let me knpw if ypu need anything else

[04/14
, 06:55] briantawandamanyati at African Development Associates: Thank you, would like knowing 1. Your email to me shows that you wholly own Pasi Flooring (Pty) Ltd, I am interested in knowing from you if there is any separate identity between you as a natural person and the entity you have had formally registered as a company?2. You use a customised approach to service delivery, is this a “pull” model as opposed to the conventional “push” model?3. What kind of challenges are you facing as a Micro and Small to Medium Enterprise? 4. What challenges is your particular industry facing, I believe it is placed at the finishing and design stage of the construction process? 5. What also have you done to adapt to e-commerce, do you reckon that by being a BOAF community member Pasi Flooring stands to benefit from utilisation of peer cybemediary platforms as a vehicle towards its own endeavours for instance own corporate branding besides the sharing of knowledge with similar size entities across the globe, entities standing on equal membership? 6. Do you believe BOAF membership brings about synergistic benefits to your entity, something which would not be possible when on a solo course or trajectory?7. You may let out the kind of synergistic benefits you expect as a BOAF 10000 Points of Light (PoL) member? Given your mention of the BOAF network, do you agree that the BOAF approach is wholesale knowledge sharing as opposed to a retail (one on one) approach, going by the video you had you conversation openly shot and shared around leading to my accessing it and eventually wanting to only earn a first at interviewing you, but share out furthermore in the interest of generating more and more public awareness of what your entity is beneficially doing e.g creating employment (you have 10 employees) and potentially value addition.8. Do you agree that through BOAF access to customer markets is among other things through riding on the community power?9. Would you refer any of your friends and family members making up your circle to the enlarged BOAF 10000 Points of Light circle and why?

[04/14, 07:00] Pasi Flooring: I am travelling now and will only be able to respond comprehensively when i get back Wednesday

[04/14, 07:03] briantawandamanyati at African Development Associates: The pleasure is mine. Wednesday 20, I have noted. So shall do my article in two parts, first one today by day end on what’s at hand already and the next one after your responses next Wednesday. May you travel safely and happy Easter holiday.

[04/14, 07:03] briantawandamanyati at African Development Associates: You may need to quickly type for me your product list.

[04/14, 07:05] Pasi Flooring: Hope that assists.

[04/14, 07:06] briantawandamanyati at African Development Associates: Precisely on point
