Below is a letter penned by Ms. Fadzayi Mahere who is in Advocate Nelson Chamisa’s self-created narrative that God Is In the project to usher Chamisa as the new messiah-like leader of Zimbabweans as prescribed in the bible using verses chosen by Chamisa:

Holding Executive to Account

By Hon Fadzayi Mahere

🟣Dear Minister @KirstyCoventry,

A number of athletes have represented Zimbabwe with distinction at the All-Africa Games in Accra.

  1. Does the Ministry of Sport have a Twitter handle or an online presence generally? What’s stopping the Ministry of Sport from showcasing our inspirational athletes online and communicating their achievements? Why not have up to date running commentary so Zimbabweans can know exactly what’s going on?
  2. Where is the snazzy video content telling us the stories of these athletes? Where did they learn to play? How did the become the best? Where were they trained? What national records have they broken? Why is sibling tennis a thing? What’s it like for women athletes in traditionally male sports like cricket? Are any athletes using the games to prep for the Paris Olympics?

  3. Why don’t you have a hashtag to enable the nation to rally around the individuals and teams participating? In advance of events, why not notify us of what is coming up and whether broadcasting rights have been secured so we can follow the games intently and support our own? Why not get even phone recordings of all the podium finishes where our national anthem is played to inspire emerging athletes and excite fans?
  4. Why aren’t we going behind the scenes of the games? Why not share pictures of the various team kits and who designed them? Who is our flag bearer? Do we have a mascot?
  5. Wearing a Zim blazer is a privilege and an honour. Why not share the voices of those who’ve had this privilege and what it felt like to be raising our Zim flag?
  6. Sport is bipartisan and has an incredible ability to unite a nation. Why can’t the Ministry hire a young, savvy social media manager to get this ball rolling?

We need new leaders.🇿🇼
