Conquering your Fears: Monday Motivation With Brian Kazungu

“When you discover your fears and conquer them, people will give you their own fears to conquer at a fee” – Brian Kazungu

One of the greatest setbacks to people’s achievements is fear and I can refer to this “fear” as merely a negative reaction to a negative assumption.

In most cases fear is that voice in you that keeps telling you of the consequences of failure rather than the joys of success.

These assumed consequences of failure discourage you from accomplishing that which the human race is patiently waiting for you to deliver.

This fear conquers you when it is not questioned and therefore you must start to critically look at issues and desist from accepting everything as it comes.

Fear is mostly a result of ignorance, for people tend to fear things, people and situations that they do not understand.

Man is subject to many sorrows, troubles and challenges as long as the knowledge about that particular issue is limited.

He who knows, fears not, for knowledge banishes fear!!!

He who knows how to fend for himself fears no hunger. When you discover the vaccines and medicines for a disease, that disease is no longer feared.

He who discovers the characteristics and weaknesses of an enemy ceases to fear the enemy.

You should therefore strive to recognize, interpret and conquer the fears that you face in life.

When you conquer these fears, the solutions and strategies thereof can be offered at a fee to others who succumb to the same situation.

This is because people will consult you for help and advice when they hear of how you overcame certain challenges in life.

If and when you conquer your own fears, start to design a strategy and an effective approach to help others overcome the same.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. KJV

The evil of fear is that it robs you of love, hope and confidence thus eliminating the essence of life itself.

The greatest way of conquering fear is to study, research and learn much about a certain subject, because the more you know about something the less frightful it becomes.

Reflections

  1. Write or list the things you used to fear and how you managed to conquer them.
  2. Recognize people in your community who have the same problem like you used to have and offer a solution (design a product or service to do that). Proverbs 11vs.26 says He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it. KJV
  3. Write or list your current fears and how you intend to tackle them.
  4. Make your fears be known to God so that he can help you to overcome them. Psalms 34:4 says I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. KJV
  5. Find out how other people who had the same problem (fear) like you, have managed to solve it and learn from that towards overcoming your own fears.
